New Initiatives
Management Education and Research Consortium
GRAVITAS recently launched an
initiative to create locally-based, Harvard Business School-style case studies,
to be used by African business schools and other schools that are members of the
Global Business School Network.
The intent is to create local content and reflect local realities and
protagonists choices that are relevant to business school students on the
Continent. Phase I of this initiative will focus on West African case studies;
Phase II will focus on East Africa and lastly, Phase III is to focus on Southern
Africa. It is hoped that these cases will be exchanged among schools to
facilitate the understanding of cross-cultural issues and assist in the growth
of intra-continental business activities (Franco-Anglo-Luso).
